James Lattimer and the Dorset Commercial Cleaning team are proud to support Home Start South East Dorset’s new 25for25 campaign and help a local Dorset family in need.
Supporting Home Start Dorset
Owner of Dorset Commercial Cleaning, James Lattimer, wanted to give something back to the local community. So, when the opportunity arose to support Home Start SE Dorset’s new campaign, which aims to get 25 local businesses to support 25 local families, he was delighted to be able to help.
Home Start supports families struggling with young children, whether that’s with help around the house, to be someone to talk to, establishing routines or teaching parenting skills. Whatever that family needs to help strengthen the bond between parent and child, Home Start will strive to help. They work with families living in East Dorset, and cover Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch as well as Cranborne and Wareham.
As well as providing one on one support, Home Start also run groups designed to provide a safe and welcoming environment where families can come and receive support from trained experts, swap stories and advice and meet other people going through similar situations.
The new 25for25 campaign celebrates the charity’s 25th anniversary, and each business that pledges its support will help a family for 6 months, enough time to help them get back on their feet and help change a child’s life for the better.
