Double success for law firm with Lexcel and CQS

Ellis Jones Solicitors is celebrating a double success.

The Dorset law firm has been awarded the coveted Lexcel quality mark for the 16th year running.

Lexcel is the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark for practice management and client care.

It is only awarded to law firms who provide the highest level of client care and business management standards.

Ellis Jones has also been re-accredited to the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) regarded as the mark of excellence for the home buying process.

The scheme requires firms to undergo a strict assessment, compulsory training, self-reporting, random audits and annual reviews in order to maintain CQS status.

Nigel Smith, Managing Partner, said: “These are both highly prized standards and we’re very proud to receive them again.

“The Lexcel mark is formal recognition of the way in which we work and is the result of rigorous assessment.

“The Conveyancing Quality Scheme is independent recognition of the high standards we provide to our residential property clients.

“Buying a home is one of the largest purchases anyone will make in their lifetime. CQS provides added reassurance about the level of service our clients will receive during what can sometimes be a very stressful transaction.”

Ellis Jones is a regional law firm with more than 160 staff including 14 partners.

It has six offices across the south coast in Bournemouth, Canford Cliffs (Poole), Christchurch, Ringwood, Swanage and Wimborne – as well as London – and offers a wide range of services to individuals and businesses.
