Father and Daughter’s Fab Fundraising Effort for Diverse Abilities

Congratulations go to Abi Bartlett, 31 from Dorchester, and her father, Dave Bartlett, who successfully completed the New Forest half marathon during September and raised £1,575 for local disability charity Diverse Abilities.

As keen runners, both completed the half marathon in one hour and 55 minutes. They took part to support Diverse Abilities as Abi’s son Alfie attends play sessions run by the service Coping with CHAOS, in Weymouth, run by the charity.
Abi said: “As a parent to Alfie, Diverse Abilities helps us so much during the school holidays. The play sessions enable Alfie to have fun and be himself, while I sit and socialise with other parents in a similar situation. I don’t know how I would cope without the CHAOS play sessions. They are really life changing.”
