Langham Wine Estate wins Saffery Champness sponsored ‘Best Drinks Product’ Award Category at the Dorset Magazine Food, Drink & Farming Awards

Langham Wine Estate were announced as winners of the Saffery Champness sponsored ‘Best Drinks Product’ Category at this week’s Dorset Magazine Food, Drink & Farming Awards.  The prestigious awards took place  at The Italian villa at Compton Acres in Poole. Other business shortlisted as finalists in the popular award category were Cerne Abbas Brewery and The Dorset Ginger Company.

Saffery Partner Roger Wareham advised, “We are incredibly proud to have sponsored these awards and in particular this category.  Dorset has become a recognised hub for its food and drink entrepreneurs to launch their exciting new ventures.  The competition  was extremely high but we were delighted to give the award to Langham Wine Estate.”

With 30 acres of vines planted in 2009, Langham Wine Estate is the largest single-site vineyard in the South West.  They make low-intervention, sparkling wine in the traditional method from the classic varietals of Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Pinot meunier. They pride themselves on crafting terroir-driven sparkling wines using grapes only grown on their Dorset vineyard.
