Local independent insurance brokers, Coversure Poole, celebrates its sixth year in business this week. Founded in 2014 by local entrepreneur John Palmer, since opening it has grown rapidly and now employs six people.
Six Years In Business, Six Award Wins
When John opened the Coversure Poole office at 96 Ashley Road he did so in order to offer the community an accessible and affordable insurance service. His team’s commitment to service has led him to win six awards at the National Insurance Awards, including ‘Broker of the Year’ twice and allowed him to open a second office in Weymouth.
“High Street businesses can still thrive”
Commenting on the anniversary, John said: “In common with most business owners, 2020 hasn’t been easy, but thanks to our customers remaining loyal we’ve managed to come through and celebrate another good year. What’s really helped us is the number of people who’ve come to us as they want to support a local business. I’m hopeful 2021 will be an easier year, but if 2020 has taught me anything it’s that High Street businesses can still thrive.’
