Make a Difference to Children with Disabilities

Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, is encouraging the local community to come along to an event on Wednesday 22 May to find out how they could join Diverse Abilities and make a huge difference to children living with disabilities in the local area.

The charity relies on the local community to support extraordinary people that require a range of services to provide them with lots of fun, new opportunities and vital care while giving families crucial respite.

Lee Brady, HR manager at Diverse Abilities, said: “We are looking for more caring and enthusiastic people to join our team to support children with disabilities and make a difference. There a range of roles available and include working at our respite home, weekend/holiday club and play sessions, plus providing home support to families.”

The event is taking place at the children’s respite home, Lily’s Place, on 22 May between 1pm – 8pm. Just pop along to 17 Manor Avenue, Poole BH12 4LB during this time period to have a chat and find out more.

By attending the event, there will be the opportunity to speak with representatives from the Children’s Team and find out what it is like to be part of Diverse Abilities.
