Morebus is all aboard with Dorset Chamber

A Dorset bus company is going places with the Dorset Chamber after becoming a Platinum Business Partner.

Poole-based morebus has joined forces with the county’s voice of business to help it drive economic growth and to forge new links with other firms.

The Chamber, which is Dorset’s leading business support organisation, has more than 720 members – including nearly 30 Business Partners.

Morebus is part of Go South Coast, which is owned by the FTSE 250 transport organisation ‘The Go-Ahead Group’.

Morebus has two local sister companies – Damory and Excelsior – who are also Dorset Chamber business partners.

Dorset Chamber chief executive Ian Girling said: “Transport and infrastructure are so important to business in Dorset and the local economy.

“It will be invaluable to have a company of morebus’s stature and experience within the ranks of our Business Partners.

“We are delighted to welcome the company aboard and look forward to a close and fruitful partnership.”

Adam Keen, who is general manager at Go South Coast, said: “The Dorset Chamber provides an engaging and effective way of representing businesses in our region.

“The Chamber’s voice is important when it comes to issues affecting businesses in Dorset.

“We are keen to play our part in helping the Chamber support business and help drive the local economy in the years to come.”
