Muffin Break opens at Dolphin Shopping Centre

Popular coffee shop, Muffin Break, opened its new store at the Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole on Thursday August 8.

As the first Muffin Break shop to open in Dorset, the launch attracted an abundance of shoppers, all keen to be one of the first 50 customers to get their hands on a golden ticket.

Muffin Break has taken the former Druckers Patisserie space, in the popular area outside Boots and Primark.
John Grinnell, centre manager at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, commented: “It was wonderful to see so many people supporting the launch of the centre’s latest store. We’re confident this is going to be a real hit with shoppers and Poole residents – who can resist the smell of freshly baked muffins!”

Muffin Break serves premium coffee and a selection of muffins, cookies, cakes, flatbreads, toasties, quiches and other savouries. The brand originated in Australia in 1989, with the first store opening in the UK in Derby in 2002.

John added: “It’s been a really exciting year for the centre, with a whole host of top brands joining our line-up of retailers.”

Michelle Orr, marketing manager at Muffin Break, commented: “We’re so pleased to be offering something different to the people of Poole. Our cafés are owned by our carefully selected, locally based franchisees, meaning our customers will receive a friendly, welcoming, local coffee shop experience every time they visit.

“We pride ourselves on offering our customers high quality, freshly baked from scratch food, which is made on site daily and are excited to provide this new hub for the people of Poole.”
