South Coast accountancy firm, Inspire, are pleased to announce the new appointment of Liz Phipps, who joins the firm as HR Manager.
Liz will be based at the firm’s Head Office in Poole and joins a 45-strong team, which has continued to grow since the firm launched in 2004. With nearly 20 years’ experience in HR, Liz and has been charged with continuing to enhance Inspire’s people ethos, working with its directors and managers to further support and develop each member of the team. Inspire’s goal is to establish the firm as a true employer of choice to ensure they attract, engage and retain the top talent in their profession. Liz will be reviewing all aspects of the employee lifecycle to enable Inspire to do this and to ensure everything they do is in-line with their Essence, Spirit and Beliefs.
Liz brings with her extensive HR experience working in professional services firms and management consultancies. Her most recent appointment was at Grant Thornton UK LLP in London, where she worked with senior partners and leadership teams to help them develop and manage their talent. Liz has worked with many talented, commercial people, coaching and advising them on how to get the best from their employees. She has also delivered a number of key strategic projects, such as overseeing the people aspects of an acquisition and a disposal and leading a major review of how trainees were inducted into her old firm, which resulted in a national award for best induction.
