Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry is leading the way online with a new website to help boost business.
The Chamber – Dorset’s voice of business – has completely revamped its online presence to deliver greater support to help firms grow and drive the local economy. It has developed the cutting-edge site with one of its longstanding Platinum Business Partners, Digital Storm.
Information and advice about business support, events, training, international trade and the groundbreaking Young Chamber Programme are a click away on the new site. Other features include news, online booking, surveys, membership information and an introduction to the chamber and its team.
Stuart Dixon, Dorset Chamber’s head of marketing and communications, said:
“The new website is a statement of intent as we look forward.
“It reflects the modernisation and changes over recent years and enables us to present ourselves authentically as the professional and approachable organisation we are while recognising the importance of digital media.
“We hope our new website will become a go to platform for businesses of all types and sizes to identify opportunities, connect with likeminded firms and grow.
“Our thanks to Digital Storm for helping to create such a stylish and user-friendly website which performs brilliantly. It shows the great depth of talent which is out there in Dorset.”
The website has a new address at www.dorsetchamber.co.uk although anyone using www.dcci.co.uk will be redirected. Damion Hazael, Client Development Director at Bournemouth-based Digital Storm, said:
“As the county’s leading business support organisation, it’s important the Dorset Chamber shows the way online.
“The new website was meticulously designed, developed and built to deliver the greatest impact online for the Chamber and its members. It was a pleasure to collaborate on this milestone project for the Chamber.”
Dorset Chamber, the county’s leading business support organisation, will use the website as part of its digital strategy along with social media.
Key features of the new site include comprehensive listings of events which can be booked online.
