Paul Marsden Has Been Appointed as Interim Finance Director at Wimborne-based Teachers Building Society.

Paul joins Teachers with a wealth of experience in the building society sector, having served as Chief Executive of Harpenden Building Society for nine years and prior six years as its Finance Director. Paul was also previously a Managing Director at Bank and Clients PLC, a newly formed challenger bank in the City.

Paul replaces Dean Fensome who has taken up the role of Finance Director at the Holmesdale Building Society.

Founded in 1966 by the National Union of Teachers (now the National Education Union), Teachers Building Society has enjoyed continued strength, with results last year showing an increase in mortgage lending and a pre-tax profit of £621,000 despite substantial investment in technology and systems.
