Savills bolsters southern rural agency team with two new appointments

Savills southern rural agency team has welcomed two new joiners.

Tom Eyston has joined as a trainee rural negotiator covering the central south and Hannah Riches has joined the team as a rural agent at associate director level to cover the south east.

Tom previously worked as a land and planning graduate for Countryside and will be completing his APC training to become MRICS qualified.

Tom, who will be based in both the Salisbury and Winchester offices, says: “I am extremely glad to have joined Savills and I am looking forward to working closely with local farmers and landowners to provide the highest level of service.”

Hannah has returned to the firm’s rural agency team having joined Savills 11 years ago as a farm agency assistant, a position she held for four-and-a-half years before moving over to Savills Haywards Heath office’s residential team in 2016.

“I am excited to be returning to the rural agency team with an even greater depth of experience thanks to my time with the residential side of the business,” says Hannah, who will be based in the firm’s Sevenoaks office, covering Kent, Sussex and Surrey. “We already have some exciting new instructions to launch and anticipate a busy market in the south east this year.”

Geoff Jones, Savills head of rural agency in the south, adds: “We are very pleased to welcome Hannah and Tom to bolster our very strong team covering the south of England. With demand continuing to outstrip supply of agricultural property and farms in Dorset, Somerset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Kent, Sussex and Surrey, we are looking forward to bringing a number of new instructions to the market in the first half of 2024, ranging from large estates to farms, vineyards and commercial properties.
