Smith & Williamson Supports The Rainbow Centre

The South Coast office of Smith & Williamson, the accountancy, investment management and tax group, has named The Rainbow Centre as its charity of the year.

The Rainbow Centre supports Children with Cerebral Palsy and adults with Strokes, MS, Parkinsons, Adult Cerebral Palsy and head injuries and also supports those who care for them.

Through a system of learning called Conductive Education they encourage and teach their participants to take an active role in their own development enabling them to reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives.

Andrew Edmonds, head of Smith & Williamson’s South Coast office in Southampton said: “The Rainbow Centre is a locally-based charity that helps people from five counties in central Southern England we are delighted to be supporting such a worthy cause. We look forward to working with the organisation to help it raise funds and engage our people to provide other forms of support.”

Sarah Hudson, corporate fundraiser at The Rainbow Centre added: “It’s wonderful to have the support of Smith & Williamson. We look forward to working in partnership with the firm to raise awareness of the work of The Rainbow Centre and engage with its people for our events, fundraising and volunteering.”
