Based in Ferndown, SPC IT was founded by owner Simon Carlo in March 2012. After over 10 years of working in IT support, and building his knowledge and reputation, Simon decided to help other companies build their IT departments so set up SPC IT on his own. This developed into providing support, software and hardware, turning him into an experienced IT Managed Service Provider (MSP). Simon has come a long way from his start up days in the spare bedroom. SPC IT now has premises in Longham and the company has grown to employ four local talented Support Engineers and his wife Andrea keeps them on track with Finance and Account Management. A real family business.
SPC IT has shown immense growth, with turnover increasing each year. During the pandemic additional staff were employed to manage the shift in working guidelines, enabling their clients to work seamlessly from home.
Company Director Simon Carlo comments: “I am thrilled to have reached our 10-year anniversary; I started the company in 2012 at the same time that I married my wife who is also our Finance & Operations Director. I have always worked in the Technology sector, starting as a laptop repair engineer, through to helpdesk technician and then up to IT Manager. I have over 20 years of experience in both IT and customer service. SPC IT was founded on this experience to provide premium IT support while keeping the quality of customer service at the top of our priorities. We have built a fantastic and friendly team who come with a smile and a willingness to work with your business. We look forward to working with new clients and helping them move their businesses’ IT to the next level.”
