Star lawyer becomes 21st Partner

A high-flying lawyer who completed her training just over nine years ago has been promoted to Partner at Ellis Jones Solicitors.

Victoria Riddleston has become the 21st Partner at the regional law firm, which has more than 160 staff in six offices on the south coast and in London.

Victoria joined Ellis Jones three years after qualifying and during her time with Ellis Jones has been promoted three times, demonstrating Ellis Jones’ commitment to developing its junior lawyers.

Victoria works within Ellis Jones’ Dispute Resolution department and specialises in Contentious Trusts and Probate and Contentious Court of Protection work.

Victoria, who qualified as a solicitor in September 2012, has been ranked as an Associate to Watch for Private Wealth Disputes in Chambers and Partners’ High Net Worth Guide for the last four years, now being ranked as an Up and Coming Partner.  She has been endorsed as a Recommended Lawyer in the Legal 500 for Contentious Trust and Probate for five years running, from 2018 to 2022, as well as for Court of Protection and Commercial Litigation work

In addition, Victoria was shortlisted as a finalist for Lawyer of the Year at the Dorset Legal Awards.
