Steele Raymond LLP makes two new appointments to Top-Tier Residential Development Team

The South Coast law firm welcomes a new homes coordinator and a legal assistant to its leading Residential Development Team at a time of significant growth.

Kayleigh Ryan, who joins Steele Raymond as a new homes coordinator from a Southampton-based law firm, brings with her a wealth of experience in residential property development and plot sales and has a proven track record for maximising development potential. Kayleigh acts for developers and individuals on large scale developments, bespoke sites and smaller plot sales.

Speaking on her appointment, Kayleigh said:

“I am really excited to be joining Steele Raymond. The firm have made me feel at ease from my very first interaction and their values are really refreshing. I feel supported, trusted and have been welcomed by everyone.”

Commenting specifically on her role as new homes coordinator, Kayleigh said:

“Relationship building is a key part of my role and ensuring that my clients navigate a potentially stressful time with ease. Overseeing the transformation of a plot of land into a beautiful new home is incredible and getting that completion for a happy client is truly the best thing about my role. Client satisfaction is what it is all about for me.”

Also joining the Residential Development Team is legal assistant, Sammy Hacklett.

Sammy, who grew up in the Bournemouth area, joins Steele Raymond from a large national law firm based in Reading where she assisted on large scale commercial projects, including in-house legal support for a large utilities company dealing with property, operations and regulatory work.

Sammy is currently undertaking her LPC and has ambitions to qualify as a solicitor.

Speaking on her appointment, Sammy said:

“Steele Raymond have been on my radar since I was at University in 2016 and since then their reputation has just got better and better. I am really excited to be joining the firm at such a significant point of growth.
“Steele Raymond seems like the perfect fit for me to be able to gain valuable experience and continue to progress my legal career.”

Commenting further, Sammy added:

“One thing that attracted me to Steele Raymond, aside from their excellent reputation, was the quality and diversity of the work that the firm is involved in.”

The arrival of Kayleigh and Sammy marks another significant step for Steele Raymond’s Residential Development Team. Led by partner Emma Stainwright, the team regularly acts for leading property developers and landowners on projects located across both England and Wales.

The recent appointment of specialist landowner development solicitor Alison Bailey, and with more recruitment in the pipeline, further demonstrates firm’s commitment to the development sector.

Emma Stainwright, who was recently named, once again, as a ‘Leading Individual’ by legal industry guide the Legal 500, said of Kayleigh and Sammy’s respective appointments:

Chris Dolan [Residential Development Partner at the firm] and I are thrilled to welcome Kayleigh and Sammy to the Team. Both bring specialist knowledge and skills which will further strengthen our Residential Development offering.
