Teams from across Dorset and the New Forest will be raising funds for Forest Holme Hospice at the inaugural Coles Miller Charity Quiz Night.
The September 28 quiz will be held at Cobham Sports and Social Club in Merley Park Road, Ashington near Wimborne.
It’s a Coles Miller staff event that is also open to other companies. Entry is available for teams of six to eight people per table at a cost of £10 per person.
The doors will open at 6:30pm with professional quizmaster Ashley Hooper starting round one at 7pm promptly. Included in the ticket price for all participants is a chip butty (8pm).
The quiz is being organised by Coles Miller’s social committee, which comprises members of staff from all six of the firm’s Dorset offices.
Event spokesperson Kate Samuel, a commercial property solicitor at Coles Miller, said: “Forest Holme’s amazing fundraising team will be on-site hosting a tombola – and there’ll be a raffle so don’t forget to bring some change!
“The bar will most definitely be open for business throughout the evening,” she added.
“We’re really excited to be supporting such a fantastic local charity. Forest Holme has strong connections with Coles Miller – both as a firm, and with some of our staff on a personal level.
“We’re really looking forward to everyone joining us for a great night to raise money for a very worthy cause.”
Forest Holme Hospice is based in Seldown Road, Poole, near Coles Miller’s Parkstone Road head office.
Coles Miller has a long history of supporting the palliative care charity. Since its inception, the charity has always had a Coles Miller solicitor as a trustee. Currently, it is Associate Solicitor Charlotte Lilley.
