Boutique exit advisory firm, TheNonExec Limited, is delighted to have acted for the sellers of industrial automation specialist, Matara UK Limited, in the sale to leading European industrial distributor Rubix Group, one of The Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 100 privatelyowned companies having a turnover of €2.3 billion.
Based in Dorset and covering the UK, TheNonExec Limited provides specialist sell-side support to company owners wishing to successfully exit. Founded in 2010, the company now comprises a 15-strong team led by Managing Director, Justin Levine. The support team consists of various specialists in global market research and forensic financial modelling.
Founded as a virtual business right from the outset, Justin Levine comments: “Our view is that when it comes to expert guidance on the sale of a company, it is knowledge and not ‘bricks and mortar’ that our clients value. Our business model, right from the outset, was to create a virtual team of specialists that would enable us to provide a high-level of expertise, but not necessarily a corresponding high-level of fees.”
When the pandemic forced the lockdown of many corporate finance firms in March and November, TheNonExec Limited was able to give their clients a seamless service throughout. This latest transaction was led by Managing Director, Justin Levine, who specialises in mergers and acquisitions for manufacturing and distribution companies. He noted: “Where other financial service firms had to scramble to make working from home effective, we were able to focus solely on our clients’ instructions. This enabled keeping all the deals we had in play moving forward. With several instructions likely to close in the next quarter, we hope to have more good news in the new year.”
