The anticipation is mounting as the finalists for the prestigious 2023 Dorset Business Awards are unveiled. This year’s awards have generated an impressive array of entries, showcasing the remarkable achievements of businesses throughout Dorset.
In a process guided by the highest standards of impartiality, an independent panel of esteemed business leaders undertook the challenging task of judging these outstanding entries. Among these distinguished judges is Cheryl Hadland, Founder and Chairwomen of Tops Day Nurseries and Aspire Training Team.
Ian Girling, Chief Executive of Dorset Chamber, said: “We are delighted to bring the Dorset Business Awards back after a break of four years. Traditionally sponsors have judged the awards but this year all entries will be judged by an independent panel of business leaders. We were thrilled when Cheryl kindly agreed to be a judge and we value the expertise, she has brought to the awards.”
Cheryl, expressed her enthusiasm for being part of the judging panel: “It’s an honor to participate in the Dorset Business Awards, to read the entries, and to see videos and websites about some of our best local businesses. It’s also a privilege to work with the DCCI and other judges as we work together to recognise and celebrate enterprise, innovation, and the spirit of using our businesses to improve the quality of life for all in Dorset.”
The culmination of this exciting journey will be the Dorset Business Festival Awards Gala Dinner on 12th October, held at the illustrious Hilton Hotel in Bournemouth. Here, the three finalists from each category will gather to celebrate the talent and innovation driving Dorset’s business landscape. Cheryl Hadland and her fellow judges will reveal the winners, recognising excellence and dedication in the Dorset business community.
