Christmas Gift Appeal for vulnerable residents: calling all elves!

For the fifth year running, Pivotal Housing is launching its Christmas Gift Appeal to bring their residents some seasonal cheer. The idea is to ensure that all residents have a present to open on Christmas Day.

Pivotal provides homes, support and care to vulnerable adults in Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth. Most residents are former homeless, and many do not have a network of family or friends in the area.

Staff are now collecting ‘stocking fillers’ such as hats, gloves and scarves, toiletries, books, games and puzzles and sweets and treats, and are also looking for wrapping paper and cards.

Head of Charity Clare Sutton said, “Christmas is a time of year when many of us get together with our closest family or friends and enjoy giving and receiving, but for some of our residents it can be a lonely time. Every gift, no matter how small, will make a big difference.”

If you or your company have any items you would like to donate, or would like to support the appeal in any other way, please visit their Facebook page at PivotalHomesGroup
