This Summer, Age UK North, South & West Dorset and Age UK Bournemouth, Poole & East Dorset are joining together to host their summer event, ‘Summer on the Bay’.
Both charities provide services to those over the age of 50 and deliver their services to jointly cover the whole of Dorset. From tackling loneliness and isolation in communities, to promoting the independence and wellbeing of older people, both charities provide direct services to empower older people and ensure they can love later life.
This summer, both charities invite you to their summer event – Summer On The Bay.
You and your guests will enjoy a sparkling reception, live music and the opportunity to watch the sunset from the private waterfront terrace.
Held at the RNLI College in Poole, you will have chance to enjoy a summers evening taking in the beautiful views around Holes Bay, whilst enjoying a sumptuous barbecue buffet.
The evening is a great opportunity to meet new people, or simply enjoy a night out with friends, family, or colleagues whilst raising funds to support the local community.
The event will host an auction and raffle, with amazing prizes to be won – not only can you have a fantastic evening, but you will also be supporting two independent, local charities!
