Eggs-actly Right For Chosen Charity

Staff at regional law firm Trethowans’ Poole and Bournemouth offices have been busy collecting Easter eggs to support local charity, Chestnut Nursery.

The firm, which expanded its Dorset presence recently with the opening of brand new offices at Oxford Road in Bournemouth, collected over 50 eggs, donated by Trethowans’ staff in their Poole and Bournemouth offices.

Poole and Bournemouth’s nominated charity is Chestnut Nursery, a Sheltered Work Opportunities Project (SWOP) which provides meaningful work in a supportive and pressure-free environment for adults with enduring mental illness. SWOP aims to use the therapeutic nature of horticulture to restore mental well-being.

Chris Whiteley, Trethowans’ managing partner said: “It’s been eggs-cellent to see the usual healthy competition between all our offices to see who can collect the most eggs!  Trethowans’ charity committee considers suggestions from staff each year and we will be announcing the nominated charities for 2018, for all our offices, shortly.”
