Liz Lean PR encourages young minds to connect

Liz Lean PR, which launched its youth brand Digipigz in 2018, hosted its first Young Professionals Social Event on Thursday June 27 at Tonic Social, in Bournemouth. The informal event was held to create an opportunity for ambitious young people to connect with other like-minded members of the community.

The event consisted of informal speeches and speed networking, encouraging young talent to network with other local individuals in a familiar and comfortable setting. The evening gave young professionals, entrepreneurs and driven students the chance to be inspired by their peers, promote their skills and meet new people.

Emily Crowe, senior account executive, at Liz Lean PR said; “It was great to see so much talent and ambition in the room at our first Young Professionals Social Event. We wanted to facilitate an evening where the young people we are connected to could meet and bounce off each other, to encourage and develop their talent.

“As an agency we are engaging and working with more and more young people and see that there is a growing community with a growing skillset. We knew that bringing together this mix of skills and talent would add value for a lot of our attendees.

“We will certainly be looking to set a date for our next event and are currently in the process of planning a series of events to engage businesses with young people too. It would be great to see more local businesses utilising and benefitting from the young talent in our area.”

Since the launch of its youth insight service, Liz Lean PR has worked on several projects with its Digipigz Young Consultants including the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the Cultural Enquiry and Beales Department Store. Beales required support with its prom dress event which saw over 100 young people attending an exclusive prom-focussed evening, in the store.
