New Appointment to SWIG Finance Lending Team

With several new appointments already having been made in the last 6 months, SWIG Finance is pleased to announce that Amanda Sheppard, has joined its Business Lending team.

Amanda is based in Andover and will support customers in Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire.

Amanda has over 23 years of experience in the financial services sector, most recently as an Associate Relationship Manager at Lloyds Bank working within the Trading Business sector of Mid Corporates providing financial solutions to businesses trading on a global scale.  Amanda also has in-depth experience supporting SMEs in the retail, leisure, agricultural and commercial sectors throughout the South and West. 

Amanda was a voluntary Charity Champion for Lloyds Bank and was responsible for managing activities to raise funds for the Lloyds charity partners raising £150k over 10 years, including a sponsored parachute jump, raising £3k for The Enham Trust, for her 40th birthday.

In her spare time, Amanda likes to spend quality time with her daughter, is a keen tennis player, and a member of the Winchester and Portsmouth Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers.   

Of her appointment, Amanda commented “Supporting local communities is important to me, and so it’s great to be part of an organisation that puts helping local communities to grow and prosper at the forefront of what they do.  I’m looking forward to sharing my experience with the wider business community and helping the businesses in my area to flourish”.

The SWIG Business Lending team, led by Senior Business Manager, Nicola Parker, has doubled in size over the last year to meet increasing demand.

Nicola said: “Having Amanda onboard will help to provide a much-needed presence in the east of our region. We are impressed not only with Amanda’s skillset and background, but also her enthusiasm for supporting small businesses in the South and West to grow”.
