Trethowans is London bound with awards hopes

Dorset Chamber member Trethowans is heading to London this week after being shortlisted for one of the legal industry’s most prestigious national awards.

The firm has been shortlisted in the Excellence in Private Client Practice category of the Law Society’s Excellence Awards.

On Wednesday (October 17) staff from Trethowans will head to the capital to find out if the firm has come out on top and scooped the award.

Gary Pick, Head of Private Client at Trethowans, said: “I am extremely proud that the Law Society’s Excellence Awards judges have shortlisted Trethowans LLP for the 2018 Excellence in Private Client Practice category.

“Our Private Client team offers personal, practical and specialist advice in all areas across the central southern region.  To be shortlisted is great testament to the hard work, dedication and effort that goes into the service we provide.

Law Society president Christina Blacklaws said: “There are more than 9,000 firms and 140,000 solicitors in England and Wales, so to be shortlisted for an Excellence Award is to be recognised as being among the best of the best.

“All the firms and solicitors who are shortlisted should be congratulated for the work they do day-in day-out to support their clients, many of whom are navigating complex and challenging legal problems.

“At a time of immense pressure on the justice system, the incredible work being done by solicitors across the country should be applauded.”
